Anne Walsh
Doctor
Dr Anne Walsh, born in South Africa, is one of Rotorua Medical Group’s principle GP’s and works from our Central Health centre. Anne is available for appointments on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Asrih Arif
Doctor
Asrih was born in Malaysia and graduated from Medical School in Dublin, Ireland in 2011. Asrih continued to work in Ireland before heading to New Zealand in 2014, working first in Palmerston North and then Rotorua. Asrih works Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm.
Carmen
Receptionist
Carmen is originally from South Africa and moved to Rotorua at the start of 2023 with her family. She joins the team at Central Health as Receptionist.
Charlie
GP Admin Support
Charlie moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2006. She worked in hospitality for 12 years before starting her journey with us in 2021 as administrator. In her free time she plays sports, goes to the gym and chills with family and friends.
Dave Sharples
Doctor
Dr Dave Sharples, kiwi born and bred, is one of Rotorua Medical Group’s principle GP’s, based at our Fairy Springs Medical Centre. He is available for appointments currently works Monday to Friday.

Debbie Allen Knight is a Health Care Assistant at Fairy Springs Medical Centre.
Deborah
Lead Receptionist
Deb relocated from Auckland 15 years ago for the Rotorua lifestyle , she returned to RMG in 2022 after a time working elsewhere.
She brings experience, stability and professionalism to our front line team working across both sites and leads the reception teams. Deb is a member of our Governance Team.
Elaine Barrington
Lead Nurse
Elaine trained as Registered General and Obstetric nurse at Greenlane Hospital in Auckland. She moved with her young family to Rotorua in 1991, and soon after found her niche, working in primary healthcare.
She is one of our Senior Nurse Leads and mentors our Nursing teams alongside her colleagues. Elaine is also a member of our governance team.
Emma
Health Promoter
Emma moved to NZ over 18 years ago and has worked for us since moving to Rotorua in 2021. Her previous roles include working in Waihi as a Primary Care Practice Assistant. Emma is our Health Promoter that helps support our Nursing Staff, she works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays.
Erwan Ellias
Doctor
Dr Erwan Ellias is joining the team in October 2023.
Genna Baldwin
Practice Manager
Genna was born and raised in New Zealand. She spent 10 years working in Singapore and 5 years in both England and Germany, where she gained extensive experience in management. She returned to New Zealand in 2022 and has been with RMG since 2024.
Hartzel Cordero
Practice Nurse
Originally from Philippines. Hartzel is a Registered Nurse both in the Philippines and Saudi Arabia before moving to New Zealand. She joined our practice in 2022 and works from our Central Health Centre.
Katie
Practice Admin Support
Katie is born and bred in Rotorua. She has been with Rotorua Medical Group since 2019, starting on the front desk in reception roles. Katie is now based in the Administration team, where she looks after enrolments and contracted services.

Katrina is a Health Care Assistant in our Central Health location.
Lilian Kitally
Doctor
Dr Lilian Kitally, originally from Tanzania, is one of Rotorua Medical Group’s principle GP’s and works from our Fairy Springs Medical Centre, Lilian is available for appointments Tuesday to Friday.
Lorraine Foote
Senior Administrator
Lorraine, is part of our administration team and has been part of the group since 2003.
Her key role is Senior Administrator assisting in the day to day running and accounts both debtors and creditors. She is supported by our other Administrators.
Lucinda Cheesman
Doctor
Lucinda is originally from Scotland and works from our Central Health centre.
She is available for appointments on Monday and Thursday morning.
Michael De Loyola
Practice Nurse
Born and raised in the Philippines, Michael moved to New Zealand and has been a Registered Nurse since 2009. Family is important and his son and a daughter inspire and motivate him. Michael believes that both physical and mental health is important and that “Prevention is better than cure.”
Millie Moana
Practice Nurse
Millie is from the UK and comes to Rotorua Medical Group from a Nursing degree based around a paediatric background. Millie moved from the hospital to join us.
Roger Willis
Doctor
Dr Roger Willis, originally from the UK, works at our Central Health site and is available for appointments Monday to Friday.
Sonya VanBoven
Practice Nurse
Sonya completed her nursing training locally at Waiariki Polytechnic. She worked at Rotorua Hospital for ten years followed by a six year stint in Australia. Upon returning home, she joined Rotorua Medical Group as a Practice Nurse in 2012.
Tania Stevenson
Practice Nurse
Having raised a family, studied and worked in the Rotorua area for many years, Tania decided to change careers. She has found her passion in Primary Health.
Tasharn
Receptionist
Tasharn is a Rotorua local, born and bred, and has the privilege to be mum of two beautiful daughters. She has been with Rotorua Medical Group since 2021 as part of the reception team at Fairy Springs Medical Centre.
Toby Hutchinson
Doctor
Toby is a born and bred kiwi girl having graduated from Medical School in Dunedin before travelling overseas and working in Australia. She works at our Central Health clinic and is available Monday to Thursday.

Receptionist
Wyn is local born and bred. She has worked for the Rotorua Medical group for many years and is based at Fairy Spring Medical Centre.
